Problem solving Skills
This year I'm taking AP Physics on Acellus so that I can take the AP Physics Exam at the end of the year since it's a prerequisite for ETH Zurich. I enjoy taking classes on Acellus (even though it was the only option for AP classes) because I can pace it however I like which gives me time to take notes the way that I want to. I like taking notes for my Acellus classes on my iPad not only because it's more aesthetic but because it also means that I'll have access to them forever. The app that I use even allows me to search my handwriting so that I can find past topics super easily.

Physics obviously requires problem solving skills; it's mostly just plugging information into formulas and solving from there. However, I also have to apply my problem solving skills to taking notes. I'm constantly trying to figure out the most effective way for me to learn from the class and remember the concepts for when I need them for a test or in the future. I'm proud of myself for putting in the extra effort to try to learn and retain as much as possible from this class when I could mostly just guess my way through the class. I've talked to some teachers and they've said that they don't feel like students learn anything from these classes so I've made sure that I get as much as possible from them, especially since it'll help make the AP Test much easier. My biggest struggle with the class at the moment is making time for it. I'll have to apply the self-directional skills I've learned from my other online classes to make a schedule for it so that I don't fall behind.
